Dimitar Berbatov features in the transfer tittle-tattle this morning.

Once again it is being suggested that the Bulgarian international could be leaving Old Trafford with it being implied that the Spanish side, Valencia, are set to offer Manchester United a fee of £14 million to take the player to La Liga.

With Berbatov`s contract up at the end of the coming season, could United be tempted to part with the top-scorer in the Premier League last season for that rather tempting fee?

Whilst the fee is improving I still can't see it happening. 2 reasons: 1) Valencia can't afford that sort of money. 2) 14 mil still isn't enough.

I'd be happy to see him leave for 14 million so long as an adequate replacement can be found for 14 million or less. I thought Valencia were financially *****ed myself because of their stadium issues. Maybe we could take Soldado off their hands as a 3rd choice striker, I would say Mata but another winger in the squad would be taking the *****.
