Another Target Bites The Dust?

Another Target Bites The Dust?

Another target bites the dust?

Manchester United have been linked all summer long with a move for former Arsenal midfielder, powerhouse and captain Patrick Vieira.

Reports have suggested Sir Alex Ferguson wants to pair him with Spurs and England international Michael Carrick to mount a serious Premiership challenge.

This is certainly not the first time we have been linked to Vieira, our name was mooted when he left the Gunners and what a mistake it turned out to be by Wenger letting him go!

However if the weekend press are to be believed, Vieira, who looks set to leave Juventus in the wake of their relegation following the Italian match fixing scandal, will be off to Inter Milan.

Again, only press talk, I'm sure if Manchester United come calling, he may well be tempted back to the Premiership, so we'll all just have to wait and see.

The mistake by wenger wasnt letting him go it was not having a back-up plan. If you watched how cesc dominated him in the champions league you would never have said something like that. Vieira is not the player he was & if utd did sign him the fans would soon be fed up with his below average performances & even Juventus wanted rid of him before this match fixing trial ever came up.

Mistake letting him go? Did you see him play against Cesc in March? PV4 will always be an Arsenal legend and I'll love him forever, even if he goes to your mob, but the fact is he can't hack the Premiership anymore.

I did notice that his game has gone downhill, just from watching him in the World Cup. Sadly, I don't think he's Premiership anymore. Sad, but true
