Sanchez Back on the Market?

How things change so quickly!

Yesterday, according to several news sources, the Catalan giants Barcelona looked to be the favourites to improve their considerable armoury by signing the Chilean winger, Alexis Sanchez.

It was being reported that Barcelona had agreed to pay in excess of £20 million, to Udinese, for the player with a further lump sum coming their way later.

By all accounts it looked to be a done deal, although the inference was there that the player himself had, previously, expressed a desire to play for Manchester United.

Today it`s being reported that the deal has broken down and that Sanchez is once again a target for our noisy-neighbours.

Having already dismissed our interest in him, due to the presence of Nani and Valencia in our squad, now I`m not so sure.

Perhaps, although they are good players, we should be considering a purchase of Sanchez just to give us that extra something that will help peg back the gap between us and Barcelona.

He is a great player but as you said with Nani and Valencia plus the incoming Young and Park would he be needed?
Kanchelskis
Could be worse, we could be in for Torres... lololol
Kanchelskis
It was a done deal ... par the fee. Barcelona have got to stop expecting teams to accept insulting fee's when they can easily demand more from others. You might see yourself as God's gift and feel a sense of entitlement to any player you want but to everyone else, you're bunch of egotistical arrogant (for profanity filters sake) douche bags (i'm talking from a footballing perspective not fanbase perspective before stereotypes and irony come into play). I don't want Sanchez and the sooner his transfer fiasco is sorted the better, it's about as fun as the Fabregas will he, wont he epic.

You seem pretty adamant about that lol
Kanchelskis
Sounds like you're describing U*d TF7. Red Boy, when did Sanchez express a desire to join U*d? I've seen quotes from him in the past saying he thinks the PL would suit him best but never saw a quote expressing a desire to join U*d.
Bluedub
i really did wanted us to get dis guy i wached him a couple of time ni think his a good player but i dnt think his gonna be able to break into d first team of barca very easily based on their favourissm.....lol
henry_shyboy
I acknowledged that the comment may seem hypocritical bluedub and expressed so in the brackets. However I was speaking in terms of being a football fan.
TheFamousNo7
well i think im gonna agree with Bluedub on this one
henry_shyboy
TheFamousNo7 so right you are.The C*ntalans fecking think teams are obligated to accept their meagre offers.Thiago is being quoted at 20mil along with Jeffren, their wantaways yet they wont even pay more than 35mil for Cesc. They even want Chelsea to do them a favour & buy Villa for 40mil to finance the transfer, the nerve of them.Other teams must bow to them & help strenghten their team.
Chelsea24/7
u cant blame them being the best team in d world u have d right to do what ever u want.......all u can do is jst sit back n watch them pull strings...maybe thats one of d benefits of being d best club in d.....
henry_shyboy
Being the best at something doesn't give you the right to do anything. Apparently being FIFA's play thing does though otherwise both Barca and Madrid would've been charged for tapping up long ago.
TheFamousNo7
You're seeming hypocritical TF7. Unfeckinbelievable that you can take the moral high ground when your club is just as guilty as either of them.
Bluedub
*sigh* read my original comment bluedub. I don't need you telling me what i've already acknowledged. Slow news day on VMC or something?
TheFamousNo7
Your original comment is bs TF7. U*d ( both club and fanbase ) display the traits you are criticising in others. Simple as that.
Bluedub
So you go by stereotypes I take it. I hardly expect you to believe me and I'm probably cluthing at straws but never once have I said 'We're United and we do what we want' nor condoned the way we our fanbase or management act on occassions. I'm a United fan but a football fan first and as a football fan I believe Barca on the pitch are an example to all, when they're not tripping over the grass that is, but off the pitch their behaviour and attitude is appauling. Once again i'm guessing I'm chatting bull****** right? Typical...
TheFamousNo7
No I agree that Barca behave that way. I just think it's a bit rich coming from a fan of a club that behaves in the same manner, that's all.
Bluedub
i agree with u totoally blue dud......
