French Midfielder Linked

Lassana Diarra could be on the verge of joining a fourth Premier League club.

Having already played for Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth, several news agencies are now inferring that the French midfielder could be heading to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho, at Real Madrid, has decided that Diarra is surplus to requirements and those same news agencies are already intimating that Diarra is in talks with Manchester United.

We`ll let you know if we hear anything concrete.

Don't really believe it but would like to see him playing for us. Would be a nice CV with United Chelsea Arsenal and Madrid.

A very good player who would add the steel we lack. What ever happened to the Defour rumours. He seems, from what I've seen, a very good player also.

I personally welcome the idea because Man utd presently does not have a standing 4. his combination with sneijder will be so good as they will be defensive at the midfield as well. His age is still encouraging. Who knows he might pick form at Manchester united. more so he will be relatively cheap and wholeheartedly willing to play for Manchester united.

thsi is jst a rumour its very unture........the media is at it again linking united with players of their own choice....

Would you seriously take the risk on a nomad like Diarra? There is a reason players get moved on every few seasons and it's not because of their "Life of the party" type personalities!

What risk is involved fcb? He's a mercenary, a drifter, he plays for the highest bidder and never seems happy. Parallels can be drawn with Anelka, great players who are destined for greatness but will never fulfill those heights. He'll join for say 15-20 mil, do his job, then be sold 2 years later for near enough the same or more. A short-term fix until we find someone better, i'm alright with that.

i dnt think u v have really watched this guy.lass is a good midfielder n complete maker of d ball u calling him a normad jst goes to show u no nothing bout d game of football...when barca took on real in d champs league he was d most impressive player on that pitch on madrid path..i think if united had a player like lass on that faithfull night things might have been diffrent.......
henry_shyboy
I think you misunderstood what fcb meant by nomad henry. He meant it in the sense that Diarra has no real home and is always moving from club to club. Agree with everything else you said though.

lass is cool but United need someone better than lass!
