Brown Linked With Villa

Wes Brown appears to be a man in demand.

Already Sunderland and Everton have been mentioned as destinations for the defender who has been told by Manchester United that he is surplus to requirements and this weekend it was inferred that Wes would prefer a move to Everton to enable him to stay in the north-west.

Today (Monday) another possible destination has been thrown into the hat by the tabloid press with it being inferred that Alex McLeish, the newly appointed Aston Villa manager, being keen to make Wes one of his first signings.

With Ashley Young moving in the other direction could Wes be steered towards Villa Park by United?

Knock a couple of million of the Young price. Lets throw in Gibson and Obertan too.

Villa are more likely than Everton but even then I reckon it's unlikely.
