Sanchez Now a Target!

Collecting the usual bundle of newspapers from the newsagents this morning it looks as if our spending could be about to continue.

After already adding David De Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young to the squad, as Sir Alex Ferguson seeks to improve the squad, the tabloid are insistent that we`r emaking a major play to sign the Udinese winger, Alexis Sanchez.

According to the tabloids, David Gill has gone to Spain to try and broker a deal that would bring the Chilean to Old Trafford.

A fee of £27 million is mentioned with Gill desperately trying to break a stranglehold Manchester City thought they had on the deal.

The players` agent, Fernando Felicevich, in comments attributed to him in the media was giving nothing away,

"An agreement with City? Sanchez`s future is still very much wide open. We are working on it, and after meetings with City, we have other new appointments."

It`s proving to be an exciting summer at Old Trafford isn`t it!

When did City think they had a stranglehold on the deal Red Boy? Where are you getting that from?

thsi is one deal i would love to be completed soon but i dnt know if its gonna go through cause d competition 4 d guy is really though.......

Do we need another winger?? we need CMs!

Great player, I would love to see him at Old Trafford in a red shirt but the priority has to be 2 centre midfielders. Get 2 top class central midfielders and then look for possible improvements in other positions.

Don't want him. Well, that's a bit harsh but I'd much sooner see us sign someone else other than him. You won't catch me moaning if we do get him but I'd hardly be jumping for joy either. For the money Udinese are demanding there's much better options available.

Sanchez can play middle, and if SAF thinks he is the man for our midfield, who are we to question his decision. I do though agree, that an out and out central midfielder would be a better option, however Sanchez is an incredible talent, I reckon he will develop into a superstar. Perhaps, SAF will buy both Sanchez and a central midfielder, we will find out soon enough.

I think Modric has to be the man we go for. He is proven in this league and I'm sure with the fact Chelsea have no manager, one chat with Fergie with persuade him OT is the right place for him.
