Trio Update!

The proposed triple transfer of three United player`s to Sunderland has thrown up a few column inches.

According to reports, Wes Brown and Darren Gibson are both engaged in talks with Steve Bruce about moving to the Stadium of Light.

But, the third of the reported trio, John O`Shea, has yet to be convinced that leaving Old Trafford for the Stadium of Light; is the right thing to do.

The reports go on to infer that Steve Bruce is hoping that if Gibson and Brown sign on the dotted line then O`Shea could possibly be agreeable to the move.

We`ll keep you posted.

I still think O'Shea has something to offer, I know next season, come the usual injury crisis, we will be all saying if only O'Shea was here he could of done a reasonable job at full back, centre back, centre midfield even goalkeeper.
Kanchelskis
Can't let O'Shea go. Like Kanchelskis said he's far too useful to lose and i'm shocked that Fergie would even accept a bid for him, especially considering the only over utility defender we have, De Leat, is leaving the club. Gibson I wasn't overly sure about, he's still young and may be a late developer but at the same time his seemed a dud for quite a while. I'll have to trust in Fergie's decision on who he lets leave and keeps on.

I think its time to let Gibbo go, he is almost in his mid 20's and has had a lot of games, and just hasnt delivered on a continual basis. Wes is not needed, with fabio and rafael and De laet, and I agree with you guys, we need a utility man like O'shea, would be sad to see him go.

100% agree, we gotta keep O'Shea. If we get a couple of injuries at the back he will be vital for us.
