End of an Era

End of an Era

They say nothing lasts forever and with regards to the 'Class of 92` that is fast becoming the case.

With Paul Scholes joining Gary Neville as members of that famous class who have retired this season, Scholes, now set to become a member of Sir Alex Ferguson`s coaching staff, has reflected on that exact fact, commenting,

"It`s definitely ending. Phil Neville and Nicky Butt left a while ago while Gary is finishing this year."

"Becks went a while ago, so it`s coming to an end. Nothing can go on forever."

"But there`s still Ryan and plenty of homegrown players at the club."

My view is that the 'Class of 92` was a one-off and that, despite throwing huge investment in the direction of our academy we`ll not see the likes of them again.
