Keeping Cleverley!

With Paul Scholes having retired and with there being rumours that Ryan Giggs may well follow suit, Sir Alex appears to be boxing clever with regards to his midfield options.

Away on international duty with the England U21 squad, we understand that Sir Alex has rejected overtures, from Wigan, for the services of young Tom on another season long loan spell at the DW Stadium.

Apparently, Sir Alex has decided that Cleverley is part of his plans for next season and that he could well feature in the first team squad for domestic and Champions League games.

He is undoubtedly talented, more a Ji-Sung Park type than a Paul Scholes though

Good to hear we're not unloading him. He will hopefully provide some sort of threat from CM. He's not afraid to take a shot from outside the box so hopefully from that aspect of his game alone we may benefit.
