Sanchez Deal in Trouble?

The tabloid belief that Manchester United are keen to land the Udinese player, Alexis Sanchez, has thrown up the odd complication or two.

It seems that any apparent United interest is being gazumped by Barcelona with the Champions League winners keen to add the Chilean star to their squad.

Although Udinese want £30 million for the player, Barcelona have offered the Italian club a choice of two players to supplement the deal, those two players being Bojan Krkic or Thiago Alcantara.

The tabloids go on to say that Sanchez`s agents have agreed a five-year contract with the Catalan club just in case Udinese agree to accept Barcelona`s offer.

One that`s got away perhaps?

Why young and sanchez though?

Don't want Sanchez. There's far too much of a risk involved which is a massive contrast to the Young deal, where there's very little risk. Sanchez has a star struck name with a 'wonder kid' tag and many got bought into it with no real reasoning of why we should sign him, he offerns nothing to the side which we don't already have. Not too sure Sanchez would fit into the Barca system either. He's not exactly a follower of the passing game philosophy nor is he Catalonian, suggesting he won't get a place in the front three above Villa, Messi or Pedro. Barca, with the money they've got, surely are better off chasing after Fabregas again? I mean, they say they value him yet would sooner sign Ibrahimovic, Villa, Mascherano and Sanchez before him, meet some ridiculous wage and transfer demands, than meet Arsenal's valuation.

If I had a choice of Young or Sanchez I'd go for Sanchez, ideally I'd have neither and put the money into the team where it is actually ******** needed, central midfield.

the way you seem to be stockpiling wingers would suggest to me that you are planning to offload someone - most probably Nani.
