Young Deal Imminent!

According to the tabloid press, a deal for Ashley Young has moved even closer.

They`re reporting that the proposed meeting Young was supposed to have with Randy Lerner, the Aston Villa owner, has been cancelled as it was, reportedly, deemed to be not worth having as both parties have accepted that Young`s departure, from Villa Park, is inevitable.

Therefore it looks as if the £16 million transfer of the twenty-five year old could soon be wrapped up!

£16m ..... cachhhhiiing thank you very much, now you can watch him run and fall over, run and lose the ball over and over again, he has one good 10 mins in a match every four matches !!! Nani is five times the player Young will ever be. For Englands sake I hope Fergie can get the best out of him, but I won't hold my breath !

I'm sure he will be a decent enough squad player, he offers something the team doesn't have down the middle. I'm not exactly thrilled but it's hardly a bad move either. Apparently, if you're gullible like me and believe everything you read :P, our interest in Nasri has intensified. He will easily fill the AM we need and would suit our counter-attacking system more than Arsenal's possessive game I reckon. Still not holding my breath though. Fergie said 3 signings, so far we're looking at De Gea, Jones and Young, but there's still issues with the center of the park and I feel there's still another 1 or 2 deals to go, preferably a CAM by nature like Costa and a CDM. Diarra and De Rossi are good options however I would settle for Adam.
TheFamousNo7
He has lost the ambiton at Villa, when he was interested he was very good, but he demanded every set peice hence the high goal and assist ratio, he demanded to be played as the second striker, he also got the captians armband still not happy. Can't see him being anything more than a sub player.
Villa 4 Ever
Noooooo please not Young!!!!! He's lame and hyped up because he looks good for England but they're lamer. We need fergie to look after our kids and nurture them into uniteds future heros.

Good bit of business I reckon, 2 years left before burrnout delicate soul. Oh and TheFamousNo7, regarding Charlie Adam, have you watched him play international footy? totally out of his depth, great at the kamikaze stuff but when you have to play a system........ LOST!
Stourbridge Villan
In fairness Stourbridge, I haven't seen Adam on the international stage, I can only go by his Premier League performances, which were brilliant.

Internet rumours doing the rounds that Ashley Young has joined the Giggs and Rooney club. Not sure if it will be enough to put taggart off signing him though - he doesn't seem to care. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3629577/Ashley-Youngs-200000-wedding-called-off.html

Good luck him. Gave us a good few years service at Villa Park!
