Hernandez Reward!

After a fantastic first season, Javier Hernandez looks set to reap the financial rewards.

The red-top press is alive with the suggestion that he`s set to be offered a new deal that will see his wages treble to a cool £75,000 a week.

Apparently the financial reward, as well as being for the great start to his career, is to ward off interest from Real Madrid who, one tabloid claims, have issued a 'name your price` for the star striker.

Meanwhile, Javier continues to rattle in the goals. Currently on international duty, with Mexico, at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, Javier got his campaign underway in the best possible fashion by scoring a hat-trick in Mexico`s 5-0 thrashing of El Salvador, a game played out in front of some 80,000 spectators.

According to the red-tops, the aforementioned deal will be sorted out once Javier returns from his summer break following the conclusion of the reference competition he`s now involved in.

75k a week, are you sure?! Personally wouldn't condone such a massive wage boost yet unless it was preset in his contract. As for Madrid, if it is a name your price offer we should send a message back saying Ronaldo. Douche bags.

You'd be foolish not to bring this guy's wages into line with some of your more senior players - in the silly world of footballers wages, surely this guy is worth it? Otherwise, sorry to say it, there is no loyalty in football and you will run the risk of his agent whispering sweet nothings in his ear. Far to important a player for you to play hardball with.

I'm not saying don't give him a wage boost but at the same time it shouldn't be 75k just yet. See how he gets on next season and then reward him further in the mean time double his wages to 50k to give him further incentive.
