'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Young Latest

Our quest to secure the Villa forward, Ashley Young, could move a step closer today.

Young, who has expressed a desire to leave Villa Park to satisfy his personal ambitions, is set for a meet with the Villa owner, Randy Lerner, to discuss his situation.

The want-away forward is expected to confirm his desire to leave Villa Park and it is expected that Villa will have no option other than to put the England star up for sale or risk losing him this time next year when his contract will run out.

A time for action!

I've got to be honest I dont know why he's even having the chat its the worst kept secret in football that hes coming to you guys... I hope we get a decent amount thats all and not held to ransom, hopefully Fergie can knock Youngs tantrums and petulant behaviour out of him like he did Ronaldo...he could really be class for you. I wouldnt mind swapping young for Macheda though if you would like ; )

Rooney and Young with Hernandez. I must admit the thought of seeing this kind of football is mouthwatering, but I'd rather you didn't play these three at Villa Park next year. Thanks.

The only concern is the fee. I'm sure Villa will be strong in their stance but at the same time Fergie's no mug and won't be held to ransom. 12 mil seems more than reasonable, unless a bidding war starts of course...

I have 2 concerns, 1 he's decent not great, and 2 how much will we have left to get a world class att central midfielder in. 12 million shouldn't be a lot to a club our size but will the trolls, sorry Glazers sanction more transfers.
Kanchelskis
would I be hated if I said I don't really rate him!
Red Boy
Red Boy you are not alone in thinking that.
