Young Gives the Game Away - Perhaps!

Young Gives the Game Away - Perhaps!

Could it be a clear indication that Ashley Young really does fancy a move to Old Trafford as opposed to a move to a rival for his signature in the shape of Liverpool?

Following on from his successful second half introduction, as a substitute, at Wembley, when quizzed by the media about his future had this comment for us to mull over,

"I want to test myself at the highest level - at the World Cup, the Euro`s and the Champions League."

Now I may be mistaken but Liverpool, nestling amongst the Thursday night on Channel 5 brigade, don`t quite fit that bill!

This will be the one time I hope the scousers beat us to a signing.

Wouldn't mind Young but i'm not fussed either way. He has the right attitude and work ethic (which I recently found out) and can provide what we're lacking in midfield so it's not the worst transfer ever.

You can have him for £15m-£20m if you like but I think you would buy a far better player in Sneidjer / Modric.

I agree Sneijder, or a player of similar talent, must be the priority we must not bring in someone like Young only to end up without enough money to get the player we really need and want ie Modric, Sneijder, Douglas Costa

Just to let you know the scousers aren't even in the Europa league.
