'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Losing Touch with Reality!

At a time when your pay packet buys less and less, am I the only one who finds it galling when our so-called 'superstars` yearn for me on top of their already inflated salaries.

One such player appears to be Nani!

Nani, United`s player of the year, only signed a new deal, worth a reputed 70,000 a week last March, but he, according to one leading Sunday tabloid, is miffed about not having been offered an increase.

I mean 70,000 a week!

Wouldn`t you have trouble surviving on that?

Losing touch with reality I what I make of it!

If clubs are stupid enough to offer that sort of money to you though would you not take it? As for Nani, he just signed a new contract, he will have to live on the mere pittance of 70,000 a week until his contract is renewed.
