'If It's Football, It's Vital'

How Much?

Wembley, as you`d expect, this Saturday is a total sell-out!

Even though ticket prices were extortionate those who set the bar always knew that demand would exceed supply.

Those luck enough to be in possession of tickets will be hoping that they`ll be witnessing an historic moment in Manchester United`s history.

It`s expected that several United supporters will be arriving in London on the off chance of procuring a ticket, possibly a spare floating around that somebody is trying to offload at a legitimate price or from one of those low-life touts that make a living in ripping people off.

If you`re journeying to London in the hope of securing a ticket from the latter then we hope you`ve been saving your pennies for a considerable time.

The reason we`re saying that is that there is a report in a red-top publication this morning that infers the going rate for a pair of tickets for this lucrative final is a mind-boggling £20,000

The mere thought of it has convinced ticketless me to get a few beers in and although it hurts to say it, watch the damned final on the television!

20k?! I'd sooner snatch the tickets out of the guys hands and peg it with 'em :P Oh, and then sell 'em on myself. In all seriousness, 20,000 you're having a laugh but I suppose those contemplating buying will shudder at the thought of being down the pub with us commoners.
