The Twins?

The tabloid hacks believe that Sir Alex Ferguson will select one of the Da Silva twins to fill the right-back role at Wembley on Saturday, against Barcelona in the Champions League Final.

Their current preference being that Fabio will get the nod.

Discussing the fact that they`ve almost accepted there will not be room in the team for both of them against Barcelona, Rafael, in talking to the media, is commented as having spoken,

"Fabio and are I are very close to each other."

"So whoever starts, we`d congratulate the other."

"But our parents don`t like it very much. They would prefer one of us to play on each side rather than both competing for the same position."

"It`s quite a hard situation to be in. We`re both desperate to play but know it will be really disappointing for the one who doesn`t."

"But we`re still very young and always motivate each other, whichever one of us is playing."

Which begs me to ask, if both were to play have twins ever appeared for the same side in the same Champions League Final before?

I'm sure Fabio will reform back to a LB in the future. At the moment however, due to the competition for LB, his development is getting hindered and so the only viable option is to play him at RB. They're both fantastic and we're lucky to have them.

Rafa will probably start but they are both outstanding prospects sure even now they've held their own when put into the side. As for twins in a champions league final before, did the de Boer twins Ronald and Frank play when Ajax won it in the ninety's.

I'm not sure Rafael will start ya know. Fabio seems to be prefered at the moment and Rafael only ever features in cup games or games of that nature.

To be honest who the ***** knows which one is actually on the pitch I know I haven't a clue until some commentator takes a stab at it. Personally I would prefer Rafa playing as he is at least, well I think, a right back unless of course it was really Fabio or maybe it was a double bluff and it really was Rafa ahhhhhhhh *****ing twins.

Could so easily swap shirts and no-one will ever know.

I was just reading on the bbc tv text that the twins mum stop them from joining arsenal and they then joined us, its seems that mums do indeed know best.
Kanchelskis
Their mum never stopped them, she just guided them to do what was morally right. It's been on Wikipedia for a while now and basically, we asked Fluminense if they could come and train with us Arsenal however, without the permission of Fluminense, just expected them to train with them. Their mum told them they've been at the club since a young age and should respect the club. I'm glad their mum had her head screwed on and taught them of loyalty, respect and etc. I'm even more happy that Arsenal were ignorant enough to believe they could just poach youth and completely disregard the club they're poaching from.
