We`re All Eco-Friendly!

We`re All Eco-Friendly!

Environmentally friendly appears to be a phrase that we`re all picking up on these days.

Recycling our rubbish, protecting our planet and reducing our carbon footprint are things that are being hammered into us on a daily basis.

Therefore it is great to see that United are doing their utmost to play their part.

It transpires that our new home kit for next season is manufactured, by Nike, from recycled plastic bottles with up to thirteen bottles being used to manufacture each shirt or pair of shorts.

Furthermore, it also transpires that the fixture being played tonight, the Gary Neville testimonial against Juventus, will see everything from the floodlights to the hot water being provided by wind-power. With eco-warrior Gary pleased to remark,

"To produce the first wind-powered match is something I`m proud of."

How times have changed!

Hard to imagine Nev being an eco-warrior activist.

I always thought Gary Neville a complete.. (super-injunction). Now it is proven by his wind powered testimonial. Perhaps he can persuade those of us who would need a footblah's wages to pay for wind power, how it would work in real life? Gawd 'elp us...a little knowledge...etc etc.
