Sir Alex Nets Prize!
Having, over the weekend, been named as the Barclays Manager of the Year, Sir Alex Ferguson was widely tipped to collect the League Managers Association award last night.
At a black-tie event last night, that proved to be exactly the case with Sir Alex, who recently led us to our record breaking 19th title, picking up the Manager of the Year Award.
As we`d mentioned on Monday, Sir Alex opted not to attend the event preferring to watch the FA Youth Cup Final at Old Trafford.
But, acknowledging his award, Sir Alex gave his acceptance speech via a video link.
Congratulations go to Sir Alex on another thoroughly deserved award.
