Rivals for Rodwell

One of the rumours that`s been doing the rounds for several months now is that, supposedly, there is a deal done that will bring the Everton youngster Jack Rodwell, to Old Trafford this summer.

The 20 year old, a long time reputed target of Sir Alex Ferguson, has, according to numerous journalists been marked down as being a Manchester United player next season.

But, nobody from the club has ever inferred that is the case and now rumours are emerging that Rodwell is now being targeted by our noisy neighbours, Manchester City.

Apparently, City are preparing a bid, in the region of £30 million, to lure Rodwell to their lair.

A word of advice Jack, if these rumours of a move to either Manchester club are substantiated, then do yourself a favour and join the red half, after all you do want to win things don`t you?

I love transfer rumours, it gives you a chance to revel at the prospect of a possible team, this one however is just getting boring. Why are the newspapers linked City with every players we're linked to nowadays anyway? There would be no logic in City signing Rodwell when you taking into consideration the 3 holding mids they have already. Atleast with our link there's some logic.

Cannot see what Rodwell would bring to the club and if that figure of 30 million is accurate, which I highly doubt, why wouldn't we be pursuing Sneijder amongst others.

Also, isn't Fellaini a bigger talent and prospect than Rodwell?
TheFamousNo7
Personally I think he would be wasted at City as there is still an obsession with the biggest names and not having the best team unit. If he goes to Manchester it has to be united

Fellaini is a better player and signing him would make more sense but not for 30 million quid.
