Valencia`s Future?

There were concerns expressed, following the serious injury that Antonio Valencia picked up last September, that he may not come back the same player.

Thankfully that hasn`t proven to be the case with Valencia coming back better than ever, a point proven on Sunday when he gave Ashley Cole, often described as the best left-back in the world, a torrid time.

His performance have been something that the giants of European football have latched on to with the tabloid press inferring that Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan are all looking at the possibility of procuring him.

To this end, it`s now being reported that Manchester United are preparing to tie-down Valencia to a long term contract, even though his current deal still has two years to run with an insider, at Old Trafford, remarking in the press,

"Valencia has been brilliant since coming back from his injury and United want to get him sorted with a new contract."

"But there are lots of other clubs showing interest and he knows he`s in a healthy position."


Tie that man to a new deal now, we`ve lost one wing wizard and we can`t afford to lose another!
