Fletcher Still Has Work To Do!

It`s looking more and more like a race against the clock!

Darren Fletcher, whose appearances have been very limited following a virus that left him bed-ridden, may be on the comeback trail but whether he`ll be fit for the Champions League Final, at Wembley on May 28th, remains uncertain.

Fletcher made a twenty minute appearance against Schalke, in the semi-final second leg, but, as Sir Alex Ferguson puts it, has some work to do with Sir Alex commenting,

"The boy has a bit to do. But, as far as the final is concerned, it`s almost three weeks to achieve that. We all know he is a big time player."

Our view is that United are a more solid unit with Fletcher playing, so let`s hope he does get back to full fitness in time for the Barcelona clash!

Fingers crossed he's match fit for Barca, our midfield looks stonger with him in it.

One of the reasons we lost to Barca last time was due to Fletcher not being there. We will need his industry, tackling, intercepting, passing and crossing when we play Barca so it's vital he is prepared for it!
