Lesser of Two Evils!

This morning one of the leading tabloids carries a picture, lifted from Sky Sports coverage of the match yesterday, apparently showing Wayne Rooney making an inflammatory gesture towards the Chelsea fans.

Rooney, pictured making a 'V` sign in their direction, after receiving a barrage of abuse from the away support, was later defended by the club who pointed out that he was merely disputing a decision made by the officials and was pointing to his eyes.

Now that may have been the case but is that not the lesser of two evils, even more so when you consider the publicity the Respect campaign has recently been afforded.

Perhaps a little more tact and decorum wouldn`t go amiss next time Wayne!

Rooney done his talking on the pitch, that should be more than enough. There's no need to give 'em a reaction as then they've won. Rooney, just give the camera the biggest smuggest grin ever win you lift that trophy, that will really eat away at them.
