Nani`s Strange Rant!

Nani`s Strange Rant!

There`s been some interesting words floated around from our Portuguese flyer ahead of the game today.

Nani, who could well prove to be the match-winner this afternoon, has tried to defend himself against an accusation that is part and parcel of the game, commenting,

"People say that I don`t like being kicked - but who does like being kicked?"

"They don`t know me very well. They know nothing about my attitude, how I like to play."

"I can tell you that I am strong. I like it when defenders try to get to me because I know I can beat them."

"I have the skill to do that. Of course, you can get injured when somebody kicks you - but that is football."

Rant over!

Perhaps they should have asked him about the rolling around he`s so fond of!

Let's hope the game isn't massively held up by his spending half of it crying! Although if Luiz has a go at him I wouldn't be surprised...

Because Luiz can't tackle to save his life :P A great player and though he does spend a lot of time on the floor I feel it's more of a cry for protection from the ref. Also, people forget how easy it is to go over when you're running at full speed, a slight knock to your momentum can send you flying and on that basis, I think Nani does get some harsh, unfair stick.
