United - A Bad Omen?

United - A Bad Omen?

For those, like me, who just love statistics and trends, join me in being worried.

Although we totally out-classed Schalke over both legs of the semi-final, winning both comfortably, it doesn`t auger well for the final, at Wembley, on May 28th.

Apparently, in the last two Champions League`s, teams that have won both their semi-finals, namely ourselves and Bayern Munich, have subsequently gone on to lose the final!

Time to buck that trend methinks!

I don't want to get into all these things,I would just want our boys to go out there enjoy and more importantly to play to the best of their abilities and put on a show for our supporters in the stadium. We have nothing to lose, they are the favorites,so we can play without any pressure.

Fancy another 'omen'? Check out the teams that have knocked out Chelsea in the last few Champions Leagues and see who went on to win the big cup ;)

I prefer Zbam's omen myself, far more reassuring. Statistics are nothing more than a record which is yet to be broken.

@TheFamousNo7, I hope to be shoving that quote down your throat on Sunday referring to your Home record this season
