Carrick Refuses to Dwell

Carrick Refuses to Dwell

His error may have cost us dearly at Wembley but Michael Carrick is in no mood to dwell on such matters.

As we prepare to face Arsenal in a fixture at the Emirates this afternoon, a fixture that has taken on even more significance following Chelsea` win over Spurs yesterday, Carrick has reminded us that mistakes are part and parcel of the game, commenting,

"The mistake against City wasn`t a nice experience. We had to bounce back - me and the team - and we have done that against Newcastle, Everton and Schalke."

"But the great thing is there is no blame culture here. You must help each other get over things."

Although we could have done without Andre Marriner and Mike Cairns making a right cock-up at Stamford Bridge could we not!

Carrick has been very impressive lately, much more of his former self, spraying balls from the centre of the park in a Scholes-esque style (not to the same degree of pin point accurracy though) rather than the passenger of the team.
