Vidic Thinking of Wembley!

Schalke may not quite be dead and buried but already and you can`t blame them, the players minds are looking towards a Wembley date, probably with Barcelona.

Our club captain, Nemanja Vidic, has a few quotes floating around that would seem to indicate he views a win over Barcelona as some sort of revenge for the 2009 final defeat whilst also seeing it as the pinnacle of his career, when he commented,

"Just playing in the final is an incredible feeling."

"But to lift the trophy at Wembley as United captain would be the pinnacle of my career. It would be a dream come true."

And that 2009 final loss,

"In a final you remember the way you lose. You want to play again and win."

Has the countdown to May 28th already started or would that be jumping the gun?

Jumping the gun Redboy. The team are getting perhaps a bit ignorant, like Inter did. I can't itterate enough how cautious and wary of them we must be. They turned over Inter 5-2 at the San Siro, a remarkable feat not even Barcelona were capable of. The worst bit is, now they have nothing to lose and everything to play for.
