Bale - Not for Sir Alex!

Bale - Not for Sir Alex!

Gareth Bale may well have won the recent Professional Footballers Award of Player of the Season but he wouldn`t have been the choice of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Sir Alex when asked about the subject selected another Spurs player - Luka Modric whilst also admitting that his Manager of the Year would be Ian Holloway.

Does anyone share those thoughts?

I think the majority of spurs fans feel that Modric is the must keep player and has been the best spurs player this season.

Without a doubt. Bale in no way deserved it, no offence Spurs fans. He has been poor from November onwards and has been sussed by the opposition, if he's doubled up on he's out of the game fullstop. Like I said, the tap and run can only get you so far. It's a farce that he won the award is a bigger farce that he was nominated over the likes of Nani and Modric.
