United - Youngster Coming?

Always looking to pick up a youngster or two, a youngster or two that will flourish and continue to keep us at the forefront of the game, on a domestic and European stage, United appear to be close to capturing one such youngster.

The red-top press are reporting that United have beaten off stiff competition from Arsenal to virtually secure the services of the promising young French lad, Raphael Varane.

Currently on the books of Lens, it`s inferred that a bid of 3 million has almost done the job in securing the services of a player who is, reportedly, at home either as a centre back or a defensive midfielder.

With a club insider adding that a deal is nearly done, it shouldn`t be too long before further news breaks; we`ll endeavour to keep you informed.

Never heard of him. If true I trust the scouting network have done their homework and hopefully he will prove to be a great signing. Not holding my breath, it is newspaper talk afterall. My summer wish list consists of Douglas Costa, Adam/Defour/Tiote (or Hargreaves back) and a keeper.

Hargreaves won't be back,I don't think so but I'm pretty sure we will address that problem this summer by buying someone to fill that space. Its unfortunate for Hargo because for me when he played for us he looked like the best DM in europe but thank u for your service Hargo u were great whenever u played!!!
