'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - What Opposition?

Sir Alex, whilst still avoiding the BBC, had some pretty damning words for those who believe the title race is still a three horse race.

Following on from our late win over Everton, at Old Trafford, Sir Alex lambasted those who believe United will lose to Arsenal and Chelsea thereby throwing the title race wide open, commenting,

"It puzzles me that people keep saying that we still have to play Chelsea and Arsenal, as if we are going to lose to them."

"Why can`t we win these games? Why are people saying we can`t beat Chelsea at home or get a result at the Emirates?"

"I said to the players just forget all that nonsense and win your games."

"That`s all we have to do. If we win our games we will be all right. I think we nee dot just keep our heads down and not get carried away."

"There are four games left now and the way they are going about their business and the effort they re showing gives them an outstanding chance."

"I think there is a willing attitude among them all. There is a determination and you can test people`s characters with these qualities - their refusal to give in, their determination to do better, and they have other qualities also."

May 8th, the day the title is won for a record 19th time, you wait and see!

Between Arsenal and Chelsea I would be chuffed to bits with 4 points but would settle for 2 also. We've still got to play Chelsea and Arsenal, or alternatively, Chelsea and Arsenal have still got to play us.

I wouldn't worry about Arsenal they just bottled it again - us and you now!

Arsenal are a bunch of bottlers, even if they beat bolton they would drop at least 4 points with the rest of their games. They are not winners like man utd, they know how to do it and they will, they dont bottle it against small or big teams unlike arsenal and there whining manager. Chelsea are your only threat but you can lose to them and still win anyway so you will do it.
