United - You What?

United - You What?

If Manchester United, as everybody suspects, overcome the challenge of Schalke 04 to face either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the Champions League Final at Wembley, supporters could be in for a rude surprise.

Apparently, the cheapest tickets for the final start at a huge £176, which is an absolutely extortionate price for your average supporter.

Naturally, UEFA are trying to backtrack and justify such a price with Michel Platini admitting,

"It was a mistake and it was not good. It was not easy to decide the ticket prices because even now we have already received 200,000 requests."

"That means there are tickets on the black market selling for ten times the prices we have set."

"But I have accepted the way UEFA have communicated these prices has not been good and I apologise."

Apologise?

It doesn`t make it any darn cheaper does it!

A monumental c0ck up and apparently saying sorry is OK. Why change anything? It hasn't effected him in the slightest so why should he care enough to fix things? Both UEFA and FIFA are incompetent, it's a shame they're too blinkered to see it.
