'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - A Lucky Escape?

The world moves in strange and mysterious ways.

After the Football Association had reacted in a stern manner to impose draconian actions on Sir Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney for their verbal indiscretions, I`d have put money on the FA stepping in to have a word or two about what happened after the final whistle at Wembley on Saturday.

But if I had I`d be out of pocket because it looks like the Football Association has turned a blind eye to what went on.

Obviously the spoken word is viewed as being far worse than grappling and making an embarrassment of yourself, not that I`m complaining too much especially with so many end-of-season important games coming up.

No action against Rio or Anderson for Wembley melee

I would feel aggrieved if they were charged, not on the basis that they wouldn't deserve it, because they would, but moreso because of the occassion. Take into consideration Balotelli was winding up, we had just lost to our rivals in the semi-final, a monumental occassion, whilst it's unsportsman like it's moderately understandable. I do expect better from Ferdinand though, he's not four i'm sure he can rise above the winding up.

Standing in the centre circle and kissing your badge is "winding up" now is it? You just can't take what you dish out, simples.
