I understand fergie refused to cooperate with E.On, the sponsors of the cup, and that they are now unsure as to whether they will renew their sponsorship of the competition next season. I'm sure the FA will be very pleased if the actions of your manager have cost them millions of pounds in sponsorship eh? Who needs agent Bernstein when you've got agent Taggart? PMSL. E.ON's endorsement is due to finish after the Cup final, and Fergie's snub will not encourage the energy provider to continue for an extra year - as they did this season - with the FA still searching for a replacement backer for their flagship competition. Ferguson, who habitually bans media representatives from his Old Trafford press conferences for any perceived slight and has not talked to the BBC since 2004, is understood to have cut off the Cup sponsors in response to the FA handing him a five-match touchline ban for his criticism of referee Martin Atkinson. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1378322/Charles-Sale-E-ON-latest-face-Fergie-blackout.html#ixzz1JwJ6P5HQ
