'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - PFA Team

With the Professional Footballers Association announcing the winner so their awards at a glitzy bash in London last night, United can feel pleased that although the top awards escaped them, they were well represented in the Premier League XI selected by those who voted.

Whilst the main awards went to Gareth Bale and Jack Wilshere, United had four representative sin the PFA Premier League XI with the year long contributions of Van der Sar, Vidic, Nani and Berbatov all being recognized.

Well done to all four and let`s hope we can get similar recognition next season.

van der sar? really?

Has there been a better keeper this season then? The man has more assists than the PFA player of the year, has made numerous saves, double saves and treble saves as well as conceding relatively little.

I'm glad to see our players in the team of the year I just can't understand how Bale won player of the year whilst a much better Nani didn't even get nominated. If it's based on Nani being too theatrical then look at Bale against Real Madrid where he blatantly dived, no-one noticed that, in fact, Tottenham were celebrated as national heroes despite getting thrashed and diving on three occasions.!. Load of b0ll0x if you ask me.

I'd give them Van der Saar any day Lampard's. After all, if it hadn't been for him the rags would be in mid-table right now. The thing that shocks me is that the likes of Bebe, Obertan and Mickey Owen aren't on the list -wot a shocker!
