Ferguson Praise for City?

In recent days both Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand have shown their claws when it comes to winding Manchester City up.

Now with the game a matter of hours away Sir Alex Ferguson, possibly the master of mind-games, has used another angle to try and send the balance of the tie in our favour.

Sir Alex has, actually, been very complimentary with our neighbours, remarking at the pre-match press conference,

"It`s obvious with the money they have invested they have big plans."

"They have a strong squad and their position at the moment is fair. This is where they wanted to be in the Champions League next season and they have a good chance of that."

"There`s no doubt there has been a definite improvement there."

And as for the possibility of City resting players to try and cement those Champions League ambitions, Sir Alex responded,

"They have got nine days after this, so there are no issues about that. Recovery isn`t going to be a problem, so they`ll play their strongest team."

It promises to be quite an occasion, come on United!

It's one thing having big plans it's another thing fulfilling those plans. I'm still quite sceptical about City being honest, they say blue moon rising I say false dawn. They say progression I say ours and Chelsea's worst season. Then again, they say blue I say red.
