Transfer Talk - 11th April 2011

The summer transfer window is but several months away but already the grapevine is awash with who Manchester United might be considering buying.

Today, 11th April, we`ve been linked with a plethora of acquisitions, some ready for first team action, others who are never going to come here in a million years and some who might just be stars in a few years to come.

Four names are thrust into the melting pot today, the first of which is Gareth Bale with it, once again, being inferred that Sir Alex is willing to tempt Spurs into parting for the Welsh ace. This time though the inference is that he could offer Spurs a mega-cash incentive plus a player in exchange.

Also on the radar is the inference that we`re going to splash a cool £45 million on luring two Serie A aces to Old Trafford with the Udinese winger, Alexis Sanchez and the Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik being the supposed targets.

The last of our quartet has a famous surname, that of Zindane, with it being implied that his sixteen year-old son, Enzo, could be on the way to Old Trafford.

All speculation, all rumour but quite good fun mulling over any possible targets don`t you think?

Why is it all transfer rumours are illogical? I understand they need to sell papers but what idiot is gullible to believe these? Bale will be a luxury buy, with us being blessed with lots of width there's no need to splash out a ridiculous amount on him, I wouldn't complain if we did though. Sanchez another luxury buy with him playing wide or up front positions that, once again, we have an abundance of players. Zidane will most probably handcuff his son to Real Madrids training ground or something. Hamsik perhaps the only one that makes sense.

I agree withthefamousno7 only the Hamsik rumour makes sense.
