'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Bucket and Spade Brigade!

One of our promising young defenders, Ritchie De Laet, has been doing the rounds on loan this season.

The Belgian, who may find it hard to break into the first team squad and who is now twenty-two years of age, appears to have settled on a destination where he`d like to play.

Reports in one red top publication point towards De having a preference for a return to Portsmouth.

But, the reason given is a little surprising with De Laet admitting he enjoys life beside the seaside!

He will be a very useful player to have in the team. Not a brilliant defender but he's in the O'Shea build with the ability to play anywhere across the back with ease.
