Rooney in United Injury Scare?

With the press conference being held at the home of cricket, Lords, ahead of our Champions League tie at Chelsea (please don`t ask me why!), Sir Alex Ferguson refused to answer any questions related to the recent Wayne Rooney charge.

But, Sir Alex did leave us all with a lump in our throat when he revealed that Wayne hadn`t trained today courtesy of a badly bruised shin, an injury picked up at Upton Park on Saturday.

But, thankfully, a smile spread across his face and ours when he revealed that he expects Rooney to start at Stamford Bridgre on Wednesday night.

Injured? Yeah, apparently he strained one of his brain cells trying to read out the prepared apology. Face it, anything over 4 letters and Wazza's a bit scuppered innit?

So his ban has come at a good time then. I can't imagine a bruised shin preventing him from playing.

And whilst we're on the subject, I actually ENJOY the banter between rival fans, especially between City and intelligent united fans (Famous proves that they do exist, even though we disagree over most things LOL). I just think it's a bit of a pity that there aren't more of your ilk on Vital.

P.S. "Crapcolumnblue"?! Come on nerdy, even the window-lickers at republic of skankunia can do better than that one!
