United - A Hard Task!

United - A Hard Task!

Earlier in the week Sir Alex Ferguson spoke about success being gauged on winning a trophy every season.

This season, we could do the treble but Sir Alex, at the press conference ahead of the fixture with West Ham United, spoke with a degree of caution, perfectly aware that the squad has been hit by injuries, especially to his defence, commenting,

"We are involved in three competitions and it`s great, but the next couple of weeks are crucial for us."

"If we can get the players back it will enhance our chances. But Saturday is a big one because we are depleted."

"The players have been remarkable up to now. They`ve had a fantastic attitude to games, given everything."

"We must have a chance but it`s more difficult than it`s ever been."

One game at a time and let`s see what happens!
