After being told that it was highly unlikely that Rio Ferdinand would feature again this season, the tabloid press are now insinuating that Rio could be back next weekend.

Our central defender, who injured a calf muscle in the warm-up prior to the fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers and who hasn`t featured since, is highly unlikely to figure in our Premier League trip to West Ham tomorrow or the Champions League clash with Chelsea, on Wednesday evening.

But, Fulham next weekend is the date penciled in for a possible return!
