Scholes Talks Ongoing

If the Sunday tabloid I flicked through is correct then United are doing everything in their power to try and talk Paul Scholes into continuing into next season as a player.

Now 36 years old, Scholes is proving a difficult customer to tie down and the tabloid reports that not even the offer of a coaching position, when he does retire, has seen him grab that pen to do a deal.

Will Scholes sign on the dotted line?

It would be nice to see him guide a few of the returning youngsters next year but, that said, I thought the same last year then they were all shipped out on loan. Hopefully Fergie can persuade him, I dread to think of Gibson trying to emulate Scholes next season. Gibson's vision is spot on and so is the idea his execution however is far from perfect with him overhitting or underhittting the pass. If he doesn't sign then maybe to transfer for Adam will be even more likely, his range of passing is brilliant and at the price he would definately be worth it.
