Keeper Snubs United!

The goalkeeping position, at Old Trafford, continues to generate news.

Having already signed Anders Lindegaard, but with Edwin Van der Sar definitely hanging up his gloves and it being rumoured that Tomasz Kuszczak will also be off at the end of the season, it was reported that Eric Steele had gone to watch a Bundesliga game involving Schalke`s highly-rated keeper, Manuel Neuer.

But, the possibility of Neuer moving to Old Trafford appears to have dwindled with the German keeper reported in the tabloids as having remarked,

"Is it crucial for a player to play abroad at one point? Some players seem to think so, but I disagree. I want to win the Bundesliga title at least once in my career."

Does this lad know what an opportunity he could be turning down?

Plenty more fish in the sea. Perhaps we should splash out on the already proven Reina. 20 mil in return for a very good proven keeper and a reality check for the 'pool fans who think they're still the biggest team in England.
