United - Ferguson Battered!

United - Ferguson Battered!

Is it any wonder Sir Alex Ferguson was, reportedly, spitting mad when he received his five game ban from the Football Association after the comments he made about Martin Atkinson following the fixture at Stamford Bridge?

Sir Alex only uttered what we were all thinking yet suffered a draconian sentence, now it turns out that something as simple as an apology and a retraction of those comments would have seen Sir Alex allowed to go about his business in his usual effective manner - well that; what the red-top publications are hinting at this morning.

But, in true 'jobs-worth` fashion, the Football Association, despite handing out the ban refuse to let the matter drop and Sir Alex finds himself the subject of some barbed comments from the FA Commission Chairman - Craig Moore.

Moore comments,

"Whatever view one may take about the performance of Mr Atkinson, or any other, respect for the integrity is essential for the integrity of the game."

Absolute bullshit!

Surely the integrity of the game is being affected when officials are allowed to make decisions without being held immediately accountable. Sure they`re the subject of continual assessment but wouldn`t you just love it if these officials, following a match, were allowed to be questioned on key decisions and allowed to explain why they came to the decision given, or is that trading on dangerous ground!

Did a bit of 5hit drip from his mouth when he said that? Load of nonsese. The intergrity of the game is being questioned by the ever decreasing standard of the ref's and the inability for FIFA & UEFA to acknowledge it. FIFA and UEFA needs to have a massive clear up as the game is definately crooked and needs saving from the hypocritical, bias, corrupted, double standard dictatory powers that have a strangle hold on it. New rules enforced, old ones thrown out and ref's assisted via technology.
