More Doubts over Berbatov`s Future

Although his still our current top-scorer, the situation regarding the future of Dimitar Berbatov is still generating interest.

It wasn`t too long ago that it was being muted that the Bulgarian would be given a new contract as a reward for his great start to the season, but things don`t appear so certain now.

The recent experience of being a bench-warmer in recent games with Sir Alex Ferguson deciding to play Javier Hernandez alongside Wayne Rooney, has, according to some sources, ruffled the Bulgarian`s feathers.

Now whether his late winner, against Bolton, has done anything to clear the muddy waters remains to be seen, but the uncertainty surrounding the situation has already prompted rumours to spring forth linking him with clubs on the continent, the latest of which is a source that has Dimitar inked with a move to the Bavarian side, Bayern Munich.

In your eyes does Berbatov have a long term future at Old Trafford or is it time to move him on whilst we can still recoup some cash for him?

We're finally seeing him fit in and adjust to the system after a 2 year wait. On top of that, after finally fitting in he's perhaps having the season of his life. I feel we should enjoy his service at the club for atleast another 2 seasons. Plus, Fergie loves Berby and his ability and I have no doubt in my mind he will be here for a while longer. Berby said he reckons he will last only until he's 32 years old so another 2 seasons and if he's still kicking well cash in on him then.

That said Berby's game has never been down to speed, his over abilities make up for the lack of speed so i'm sure he will be playing after the age of 32. Age will only effect him physically, Berby's game isn't physical.

you are right tf7 however what people dont realise is that actually he is really quite fast. if you go on youtube and look for his goal against charlton for spurs you will see what i mean
