United - Evans Apology

United - Evans Apology

Carried out of the action, on Saturday, with a bad cut to his knee, the original prognosis was that the Bolton player wouldn`t be out of action for too long.

Unfortunately, that isn`t now the case with the wound inflicted by the flying boot of Jonny Evans now likely to keep the player on the sidelines until September, at least.

Evans, who received a red card for his action has been in touch with the unfortunate victim, Holden, commenting,

"Just had a sincere phone call from Jonny Evans wishing me the best with my recovery."

"Definitely wasn`t intentional, just an unfortunate part of the game."

It`s heart-warming to see that Holden views it just as it was and here at Vital Manchester United we`d like to wish Holden a speedy recovery.

Good to hear. There certainly wasn't no malice in the tackle unlike a certain Mr Carragher. Best of luck to him and hopefully a speedy recovery.
