United - The International Break

United - The International Break

Usually I curse these blessed international breaks interrupting the flow of the domestic season but just this once I have to admit it couldn`t have come at a better time.

Our squad is decimated with injury and the two week break gives the medical staff ample opportunity to address the situation of those that might be described as the lesser walking wounded.

The Premier League fixture list decrees that we play West Ham United (away) next up and although the Hammers are fighting relegation their recent form shows that it will be a tough battle, in East London.

It`s far better to go to Upton Park with a squad boosted by some of our current lesser walking wounded being available.

Like I said, this international break could be a blessing in disguise if we can get some more players fit, even more so when you consider just how up and down the Premier League has been this season.
