New Leaf or Tongue in Cheek?

Has Sir Alex, on the back of his touchline ban, turned over a new leaf, or was he just speaking tongue in cheek.

I`m undecided!

Following the straight red card Jonny Evans received yesterday, Sir Alex had this to say about the decision,

"I think the referee has sent him off because the player has a bad injury."

"I don`t think it was a malicious tackle. They went for the same ball. Evans` foot, as the Bolton player`s was too, was raised and he caught the lad"

"So you can`t 100 per cent complain about the sending off. Once you`ve raised the foot you are putting yourself in a dangerous area."

"The boy`s got a bad gash so that justifies the sending off but Jonny is not that type of player, we all know that."

"So we cannot have a real complaint, it was unfortunate maybe."

New leaf or tongue in cheek, you decide!

Neither. I think Fergie is being genuine but it won't be for too long before he feels we were robbed.

I think thats just the truth. Both players went in with exactly the same challenge but Evans got their first so he caught Holden rather than the other way round. It was the right decision.
