United - Viewed From the Stand!

Sat in the stand, barred form the touchline, Sir Alex Ferguson made good use of the Old Trafford telephone communications system yesterday.

But what did he make of the performance?

Speaking to the media, Sir Alex concentrated on our recent hectic schedule that has seen us survive in the three competitions we`re still contesting, remarking,

"We`ve had a hell of a programme in recent weeks. Full credit to the players for coming through it all."

And as for the game, short and sweet, adding,

"We were much the better side and Bolton didn`t pose us any problems in the second half."

Sir Alex obviously has a heart of stone that never missed a beat when Matthew Taylor should have buried that header before we scored then!

That header would've been a real kick to the nuts.
