'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Keeping Mum!

Sir Alex Ferguson finds himself cast between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Made an example of by the Football Association and given a fine and a five game ban, Sir Alex had very few words to say on the subject yesterday, simply commenting,

"It was disappointing; it`s the only industry where you can`t tell the truth."

"So anyway, it`s in the past, they`re not worth it."

But, one news source carries material that infers Sir Alex was hard done by citing some comments from the former Football Association Compliance Officer, Graham Bean.

Bean was part of the defence team assembled by Sir Alex and labeled the Football Association as a communist state whilst also adding that he`d seen assessors reports that criticized Martin Atkinson.

No wonder Sir Alex was cited as being spitting mad when the news of the ban came through!

Freedom of Speech? What Freedom of Speech? As long as Blatter and Platini have a stranglehold over the game, the progression and modernisation of the game is merely a faint hope. Help the ref's get the decisions right, their respect must be earned not demanded.
