United Draw Chelsea!

In the much-vaunted draw for the Champions League quarter-finals, Manchester United were drawn against a fellow English side.

With the draw starting just after 11:00 hours UK time. Sir Alex would have been hoping to avoid the Spanish pair of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The first tie saw Real Madrid paired against Tottenham whilst the second tie drawn paired us with Chelsea.

The first leg will be at Stamford Bridge with the second at Old Trafford.

Having just suffered a defeat at Stamford Bridge, the draw gives United the chance to exact revenge in what promises to be a cracking quarter-final.

The winners of this tie will face the winners of the Schalke 04 v Inter Milan tie.

This is an exciting draw, can't wait. With Nani and Valencia with Park and Anderson soon to follow. We're looking good going forward. Not worried defensively as Smalling has proved to be a more than capable replacement for Rio

As a chelsea fan.. It will not be easy at all.. Let's face it, it is man u..but we also have the tolls to win no matter about a ref ( calling fouls for ALL) of us.. Any how atleast it will be the games of this stage and ey.. Liverpool got knocked out of europa.. Hip hip horaay

Any chance of an English referee for this one – Martin Atkinson would suit us!

Should be a good tense match. Chelsea have been far from convincing this season and definately beatable home and away. We should have a lot more attacking options when playing them and hopefully we can overcome this mental block we seem to show when playing them and win. No long distance travelling so jet lag isn't an issue with this either :D Draw is a bit of a blessing and a curse though, we avoid Barcelona at the expense of having to play both Chelsea and possibly Inter. Not a big believer in fate and all that being honest but if it is real, it sure is heck isn't going for us. Having to play Chelsea 4 time's and Arsenal, City and Liverpool 3 time's we've hardly had an easy ride and whatever trophy/trophies we lift I would say are thoroughly deserved.

^^Not including the injury struck defense and midfield.
